David McNair
and his family have been long time residents of Hilton Head. Both David
and Stephanie relocated from big city environments and particularly enjoy
the Low-Country of South Carolina. "We are very fortunate to have
decided to move to Hilton Head in the 70's.
Our quality of life has been
greatly enhanced with that decision. We look forward to passing on those
benefits to our children through their quality education, lifestyle, security,
and enjoying our environment". |

300 quality homes in the Hilton
Head and Bluffton area. Our goal is to provide quality, value, and 100%
customer satisfaction with every home we build. Every employee and subcontractor
knows this goal and strives to meet it. |
As president of this company, David McNair knows the importance and value of quality
employees and subcontractors necessary to meet these goals. Because we are a small
company, our ability to meet these goals begins and ends with the owner of the company,
his qualifications and his active involvement in the management and supervision, and with
the high quality support staff he has assembled to provide services, quality, and value. |
| David G. McNair, Jr., president of McNair Building Construction, Inc., has
an engineering degree from Georgia Institute of
Technology in Atlanta and furthered his business studies at Georgia State University School of Business Administration.
Mr. McNair has been in construction since consulting in construction management in
1974 while he was a student at Georgia Tech. He has vast personal involvement in the
community of Hilton Head since his residency here in 1979. These include: Chamber of
Commerce Board of Directors member, Political Affairs Chairman for Chamber of Commerce, Past President of the
HHI-Home Builders Association, Committee Chairman for
various committees of the HBA, Co-Chairman of the Concerned Citizens Coalition, Past
President of the Hilton Head Island Community Association, and Elder of the First
Presbyterian Church,
Board Member and Vice President of Indigo Run
Community Owners Association, and Vice president
and Treasurer
of River Club Land Owners Association, and board member of
Hilton Head
Heroes, member of Coalition
for Safe Schools, to name a few. Mr. McNair is actively involved in the day to day
operations, supervision and management of the employees and subcontractors of the company.
Mr. McNair holds a license for unlimited construction projects in South Carolina,
and licenses previously in North
Carolina, and Florida. |
